Sunset Beach Resort - Phuket

This place is just a balanced option for strolling around in Phuket with real value for money. The staff were really friendly and helped me switch to a pool view room when I asked. If you're looking for a great breakfast, don't miss out on the omelettes they make.

The Hotel was excellent and the rooms spacious

Pool area was busy if you wanted a quiet holiday.

Tidy accommodation, very attentive and attentive staff with great service and lovely staff members who are very welcoming and very nice. Savoury and delicious breakfast for the start of the day with made fresh omelette and a lovely view and beautiful smiles. A wonderful relaxing and peaceful hotel, my first choice in Phuket.

The pool area was really amazin, great for chillin and relaxin. Had a fab time enjoyin the hawkers market nearby every night for cheap and spicy food. The staff were super friendly, especially the bar team, always ready to help. The food at the hotel was really good and affordable. The breakfast buffet had decent selections. The location away from the craziness of patong was just what i needed.

I had previously booked another hotel, but when I got the superior sea view room here at 60SGD/per night I booked it immediately. At all times it is above 100sgd, so would suggest travelers to wait for the correct oppurtunities. The location of the hotel is right infront of the beach, but not at the central of patong. However they provide free shuttle service to the bangla road every half and hour. The best part was the superb breakfast there as they had local cuisines as well as the continental and everyday they changed the local cuisine menu. Secondly the swimming pool as well as the Bathroom of the superior sea view room was fantastic. The staff were friendly and last day they arranged for a Taxi city tour at 1000 baht for 5hrs.

Though we had booked the superior sea view rooms, the sea view from the balcony (1st floor) was obstructed due to large sunsets shades at the balcony below. So if we sat at the balcony we did not get sea view, but could only see from the room while standing. I think the decoration of the rooms is ok and not great as seen in the photos, but overall the room was quite big and clean. They had lovely bathrooms with bathtub and separate shower. Their restaurant served good local cuisines at reasonable and comparable rates with outside good restaurants, however they take quite a long time to serve the food and the options are limited. Overall very happy with the hotel as got a 3.5 star facility at a lower price.

Rooms could use modernization, outdated safe and phone in ocean-view rooms, inconsistent shower layout could frustrate guests!!!

The hotel was out of town so nice to have peace and quiet when needed. Food in the restaurant was great. Pool area is lovely. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Slight musty smell when first went into the the room but faided as time went on.

All the hotel staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Meals are very reasonably priced and has a very good family atmosphear.

This is not a complaint - the shower in our room did not drain quickly hence while showering we were standing in the shower water. It took some minutes after showering for the water to drain away The drainage system needs to be checked.

The staff were just amazing, really friendly chommies, especially at the brekkie spot. The guy doing the eggs was like a magician, always cracking out the best omelettes. Plus, the pool area was such a jol-great for chilling after a long day of exploring!

Rooms could use a bit of a facelift, though. Just felt a bit dated in sections.

The breakfast was great, the staff and manager were terrific, the pool was really nice, as was the room, no complants with the hotel.

Only bad thing, the nightwatchman in the car park was very rudy, we had a run in with him as did many people we spock to at the hotel, the manager told us she would take care of him. We would still come back to the Resort, this was the only problem.

the theme suinset beach resort was very tempting...although d price was reasonable..we find that it is way too far from the patong beach...we had to wait for a shuttle bus which operates every 30mins only til 9pm..if we want to go after 9 we had to take a tututh (their tranpsort)we had to pay 200bhat to and fro.which is unnecessary if the hotel was situated nearer to the beach.when we book the hotel we saw the map..it was indicated as hotel is nearer to patong beach which was misleading..this hotel was nearer to another beach.we had a seaview room,bt then it was covered outside wz wires..

The pool access room offered a good experience, highlighted by its cleanliness and uniquely designed bathroom with both a bathtub and a separate shower. The buffet breakfast featured freshly baked croissants and a variety of healthy options, while the ambience was upgraded with the friendly staff. Unfortunately, the gym equipment was somewhat dated, and the breakfast area could feel humid without air-conditioning. The Wi-Fi connection was sluggish at times, which detracted a bit from the overall experience.

The venue was clean and big size. All in all great value. Fine food, outstandingly friendly and affable staff at the receptionist.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow.
